The Canadian Gold Maple Leaf is the official 24 karat gold bullion coin produced annually by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/10, and 1/20-ounce denominations since 1982. It is currently one of the purest gold bullion coins in the world. Offered here is a pleasant, uncirculated Canadian Gold Maple Leaf from a date of our choosing.

In 1979, the Royal Canadian Mint issued the world’s first .9999 pure 24k gold bullion coin-- the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf. At that point, the only widely available gold bullion coin was the 22k South African Krugerrand. The Royal Canadian Mint’s insistence on using only the finest coin blanks has made the Gold Maple Leaf the standard against which all other 24k gold bullion coins are judged. The Gold Maple Leafs are available in 5 denominations containing 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/10, or 1/20 ounces of gold. Each of these coins features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain on the obverse and the national symbol of Canada, the maple leaf, on the reverse.

Each coin is housed in an airtight capsule and presented in a luxurious, plush-lined wood box with embossed metallic gold lettering, piano-black finish, and certificate of authenticity. The coin is unconditionally guaranteed to be genuine, dated from 1982 to present, and will match the exceptional mint-state quality of the one shown.
