What defense does it provide?

If you took off your hat and smacked someone with it, it would hurt a little. However, the hat has a pocket sewn into it with a half-pound of micro metallic spheres inside, so it would hurt A LOT!

Would this set off a metal detector?

The micro spheres are made of steel, so it would likely set off a walk-through metal detector, but it might get past a wand metal detector since that's often done from the neck down.

What type of metal are the micro-spheres made of? Are they protected from corrosion?

They are made from steel and are enclosed in a water-resistant pouch so they shouldn't corrode. That said, we recommend dry cleaning only for the hat.

How many micro-spheres are there? How much do they weigh all together? Do they "clack" when moved around?

There's just under a half a pound of spheres packed tightly together so there's no noticeable noise.

Do the glyphs mean anything?

They do! They serve as visual reminders for a handful of cool stunts you can do at the bar or among friends. Instructions are included with the hat.

If you run, will the hat fall off because of dead weight?

The hat has an adjustable strap, so you can be sure it’s on snugly.

Does the hat also include instructions for the tricks?

Yes, it includes a link to video instructions for all the tricks.
