Most lighter fluids have a bit of an odor, but we find most people prefer Zippo or Ronsonol.
Is the flint replaceable when it wears out?Yes, it uses standard size flints you can find at most convenience stores.
Can you replace the wick?The wick cannot be replaced, but should last a very long time if the wallet is used properly.
Does it light up every time you open it?It can, but it doesn't have to. There's a striking wheel that you can use to make it light every time, but if you don't use the striking wheel, it will not light.
How are the contents protected or is this just a second carry option?The fire mechanism is isolated from the other parts of the wallet. Your money and credit cards do not make contact with it.
