Middle West was founded in 2008 by partners Brady Konya and Ryan Lang. Michelone Reserve Wheated Bourbon is a spirit crafted with care that proudly bears the name of the grandfather who inspired it all. Michelone Reserve blends sweet yellow corn, soft red winter wheat, dark pumpernickel rye, and two-row barley for a flavor that’s smooth, smoky, and softly sweet.

Flavor profiles: Aromas of banana, coconut cream pie, and toffeed nuts. Supple, fruity, medium-to-full body with notes of sweet cream, dried fruit, honeyed whole nut, and a baking spice finish

Straight Dark Pumpernickel Rye Whiskey celebrates significant firsts. Handcrafted from scratch, this signature spirit is made in small batches and barrel aged for over three years in new white American oak casks.

Flavor profile: Softly sweet and full-bodied with notes of vanilla-caramel, cinnamon, and smoked oak. Pumpernickel spice finish.

Straight Wheat Whiskey honors the place Middle West calls home. It's crafted in small batches from Ohio soft red winter wheat to emphasize regional agriculture, and aged in new Ohio-made white American oak barrels to finish its elegant flavor.

Flavor Profile: Smooth and creamy aromas of fruit pastry dough, nougat, suede, and buttercream. Supple dry-yet-fruity medium body with a refined finish of spiced nuts, dried cherry, wheat bread, and coconut-cinnamon baking spices.

White Rye Whiskey captures both the strength of tradition and the brilliance of innovation. Bottled at a high proof with strict adherence to four generations of distilling tradition, it's crafted from scratch in small batches and triple pot distilled to elevate the distinct flavor of the dark pumpernickel rye.

Flavor Profile: Sweet and spicy nose with creamy notes of butterscotch and rye grain. Pepper spice finish.
