Longtime friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman love Casamigos. On the rocks, by the shot, or straight from the bottle. The idea was to make the best-tasting, smoothest tequila and mezcal that didn’t have to be covered up with salt or lime. They spent years working with a master distiller in Jalisco, Mexico and held many blind tastings until they got it just right. Casamigos is quality you can taste, so raise a glass with this award-winning spirit.
Casamigos hand-selects the finest 100% Blue Weber agaves, grown in the rich red clay soil and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Their agave piñas are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, while most others steam theirs for just 7 hours. Their Master Distiller uses a special yeast blend resulting in a consistent, refined flavor, while most others use a commercial yeast. The unique flavor of Casamigos is a result of an 80 hour fermentation process, compared to the average 48 hours.
Reposado
The bouquet features mellow aromas of green grass and fresh pineapples. The palate is rich with flavors of sweet roasted tropical fruit, toasted nuts, and hints of vanilla. The finish is long and smooth with a pleasant hint of baking spice.
The Casamigos Reposado Set includes a bottle of Casamigos Reposado and a limited edition Casamigos Tequila Candle. The candle is unscented and presented on a solid ceramic vessel with a special Reposado design.
